This policy explains how Elinth Group Limited (“Elinth”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit www.elinthgroup.com or contact us. It covers all our businesses: Elinth Enterprise House, Elinth Consulting, Elinth Homes and Elinth Digital Academy.
1. Who we are
Elinth Group Limited is the data controller for the personal information described here. We are based in Manchester, United Kingdom. For any privacy question or request, email consult@elinthgroup.com or call +44 7780 268481.
2. What we collect
- Orders, bookings and shop requests: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), the service or product you choose, a preferred date or your country (optional), and any details you add.
- Career applications: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the role you’re interested in, where you’re based, a link to your CV, LinkedIn or portfolio (optional), and what you tell us about yourself.
- When you email, call or message us (including on WhatsApp): the information you choose to send.
- When you browse the website: our hosting server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. When you send a form, our spam protection briefly stores a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for 10 minutes to stop repeated automated submissions.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies, and the website does not set cookies for visitors.
3. How we use it, and our legal basis
- To respond to your request and provide the service or product you ask for: to take steps you’ve asked for before entering a contract, and to perform that contract.
- To consider your job or Studio Partner application: our legitimate interest in recruiting, and steps you’ve asked us to take before a possible contract.
- To keep the website secure and free of spam: our legitimate interest in protecting our website and the people who use it.
- To keep business and accounting records: to meet our legal obligations.
We never sell your information. We will only send you marketing if you have asked us to, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
- The Elinth team, and the Studio Partner who will deliver a service you’ve booked at Elinth Enterprise House, but only the details they need.
- Our website hosting and email providers, who store and transmit the information on our behalf.
- Our independent legal counsel partners, where you’ve asked for Global Talent, Innovator Founder or Sponsorship Licence advisory that requires their review.
- Professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it.
Payments in our Shop are processed by Stripe or PayPal, whichever you choose. You enter your payment details on their secure checkout pages, so we never see or store your full card number or PayPal login. They share your name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and the payment result with us so we can fulfil your order, and handle your payment information under their own privacy policies (stripe.com/privacy and paypal.com/uk/legalhub/paypal/privacy-full).
5. Third-party services on the website
- Google Fonts: our fonts load from Google’s servers, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when you view the site.
- Shop cart: your browser remembers what is in your cart (stored on your device only) until you check out or empty it.
- Unsplash: some photos load from images.unsplash.com, which likewise receives your IP address.
- Links to other sites: WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Amazon have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link to them.
6. International transfers
Our team works in the United Kingdom and Nigeria, and some of our service providers may process information outside the UK. Whenever your information is transferred outside the UK, we take the steps UK data protection law requires to keep it protected.
7. How long we keep it
- Order and booking requests that don’t go ahead: up to 12 months.
- Completed orders and related records: 6 years, for tax and accounting.
- Career applications: up to 12 months after we’ve filled the role, unless you ask us to keep your details for future opportunities.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to you or someone else. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email consult@elinthgroup.com and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
9. Children
Our forms and services are intended for adults. Our Young Global Founders books are written for readers aged 10–18, but purchases and enquiries should be made by a parent or guardian. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
